Hi guys out there. I would love to order an arduinome faceplate from machincollectiv.org but i'm waiting and waiting for the onlineshop.
So i would be nice ,as the arduinome is open source, to have open source fiels of the faceplate design ( dxf for example). I really don't know nothing about CAD software,so if anyone does, it would be great having an file for cnc-drills in the end. -

Attached are 2 pdf files, one for the 8x8 arduinome faceplates as they are used with our enclosure design, the second one is for a 8 x 16 arduinome that some people are working on.
Open these pdf files with the 30 day trail version of Coreldraw X4 and you can export them to DXF, DWG, EPS, AI, etc..
You can send or bring the files to your local techshop, machine shop or university workshop and have them made locally. Drop me a line if you'd like to order laser cut acrylic faceplates from machinecollective directly -> connect {a t} machinecollective {dot} o r g.
I had to switch to another shop due to some nasty bugs and limitations. The new version is coming along nicely, but unfortunately the whole process took much longer than expected. More news soon.. so stay tuned ;-) -

Sorry, I missed your earlier comment.. Pricing is as follows:
Top dual panel kit: 45
Aluminum enclosure kit, with machined holes: 30
Bottom dual panel kit: 25
The price for a complete Arduinome enclosure kit is 95 euros. I received the final enclosures, I'll post an assembly guide soon so you can study it before making a purchase. -

Yes, logo, name, text, etc.. it's all possible for 5 eu extra. You'll have to provide me with an eps/ai/cdr file. png/jpg is also possible, but quality will be not as good as with a vector source file.
p.s. no need to whisper, maybe other people will find these comments helpful ;-) -

@xndr do you still do the aluminum ones (or cnc'd wooden ones), or do you have a template I could take to my local machine shop (if I can find one) to get a cnc'd faceplate? -

We programmed the cnc'ed faceplate in G-code by hand 8-)
You can use a 30 day trail version of Coreldraw to convert ai/cdr/eps/pdf files to DXF/DWG format (autocad) most machine shops will accept those... -

xndr, where can I actually buy these items? I am teaching a little workshop soon and I need a good hw source. We could cut our own, but don't have much time on our hands to go through that process. Let me know; we'll need about 10-15, somehow :)

@jordan: you can place your order by e-mail until our webshop is up and running: connect <a> machinecollective <d> org.
@scrubberfox: we're based in The Netherlands, Europe. I'd be happy to help out if you can't find an affordable local source for these components. We ship worldwide. -
