Hi guys. Here is the new groupbuy for my keypad pcbs.
They're the same as the previous one, 8x8 fully Sparkfun compatible and GOLD PLATED.
If there are some people interested I can produce the logic board too.

You can join in this spreadsheet. Final prices will be added when total number of pcb will be decided, but they will be around 15-20 € for the keypad and 10-15 € for the logic board.

bibo, what about UM245R and flashed ATMEGAs? Will you sell it too?

Producing time is 2 weeks, then I believe one more week for shipping.
So it all depends on when we'll close subscriptions.

I added my name to the spreadsheet... I'm working on a 64 w/ the spark fun keypads and it's a nightmare!

QUESTION: Bibo's 8x8 will work with uspeds shield/adruino correct? or do I need his logic board?

Wow that's really nice!Which kind of led did you use?

did you find it difficult to lock the pcb to the case?

Bibo. We have 37 orders on the UK group buy. I was going to wait for 50 but I have been asked to go to Norway for a recording session to stand in for a musician in a band and am currently embedded in rehearsals and reading my parts and listening to music ready for a performance in two weeks time.

How about we piggy back my list to your list and we get this pushed through?

If we combine forces we can get the thing done pretty fast yes?

i bibo, thanks for the new gb. im in with one logicboard. would it be possible for you to flash again some ATMega's? perhaps there are some more interested in one or two to complete the logicboards.

I'd close at 50 x which is was what I was aiming for. And which is where we are at... and I know the others on my list were happy to go ASAP. I'm working for two weeks which means when I get back I'll have boards to work on when is when I have a lul in my scedule.

I could act as a hub for UK people if they wanted. Although postage from EU is pretty good looking at the past Spreadsheet you did.

Right. Actually I was thinking about a larger number of people, just not to have to redo it in a month or so.
I believe that prices will be higher than last time, around 20€ each, for such a small number.

Ok I have had a chat with the UK buyers and we're going ahead with the UK order as we are ready to go on a 40-order print run in the UK (well 37 but I expect more people will want them).

sorry for getting off topic, but how would that be made? i've heard about using some selfmade serial cable to upload the firmware to the chip, but i'm not very into that.

The logic board is monome 40h logic board, price is only for 1 pcb.

regarding the 40h logic board, i trust you'll be redistributing them at cost, otherwise you're violating our non-commercial open source license. 10 euros seems a bit high.

10€ is an indicative price, since it can vary on how many pcbs are made. I actually do not earn anything at all, I'm just pursuing to build something up for me and a couple of friends.
I really appreciate the terms in which everything is made here and I'm really looking forward to follow them.
I believe 10€ is a normal price, such as 7€ for unsped shields.

the shields cost me about €2.75 euro, there is a €2.22 donation in addition to that cost. however my quantity is probably higher i get them done in 128 chunks, this being my second chunk.

Shipping to US will be around 10€ for 2 keypad boards.
